Original German WWII Tragegestell 43 With Ersatz Straps Marked htp 1944- This is a rare Late war Tragegestell 43 ammunition carrying frame with woven rubber straps. The frame does have the 3 straps missing, which would hold whatever it would be carrying. There is a mixture of materials used for the straps. The main straps on the carrying frame are made of the ersatz woven rubber material, webbing on the shoulder straps, folded canvas in dark blue and off white canvas with a red line typical of late war material. The leather loops are broken from age. The metal hardware is in excellent condition and has hardly any rust on them. One web strap with roller buckle is missing for one of the shoulder straps. The frame rack is in used condition, has been some storage wear and the ersatz rubber straps could use a cleaning or left alone. It does have a ink stamped waffenampt and faintly marked "htp 1944". A nice rare piece of very late war.
