These are original German Pre-WWII Hensoldt Artillerie 8x24 military binoculars, complete with their original brown leather carrying case.
The binoculars are in very nice condition and retain the majority of their original black finish, showing only minor finish loss in a few areas along with honest age-related wear. The optics are very clear. This model does not feature a rangefinder. The original leather neck strap is included but has become dry with age. We recommend handling the strap carefully to help preserve its condition.
The original leather carrying case is in nice condition, displaying expected scuffs, scratches, and wear acquired over the years. The original shoulder strap is complete but slightly dry and cracked in a few areas. As with the neck strap, we recommend careful handling due to the age of the leather. The front closure strap remains attached; however, the spring-loaded pull tab no longer functions as intended. The rear belt loops are intact. The inside has scrapes and scuffs. The exterior of the lid bears a faint "SA" property stamp, indicating the case was later accepted into Finnish Army service.
Overall, this is a nice set with its matching leather carrying case. It remains in very good condition with only minor flaws consistent with age and service.
