Original German Pre-War Heer Aluminum Belt Buckle With Leather Tab by E. Schneider 1937This is an original German early war Heer (Army) enlisted/NCO belt buckle manufactured by E. Schneider.
This stamped steel buckle exhibits nice details throughout. The front features the standard Army design: the national eagle with folded wings clutching a swastika, surrounded by a detailed oak-leaf wreath and the raised motto “GOTT MIT UNS.” The pebbled background remains well defined, and a good amount of the original fieldgray paint are still visible on the front. There is a good amount of original paint remaining on the backside. There are no markings on the buckle.
The tab is clearly maker marked "E. Schneider, Lüdenscheid" and dated 1937, representing one of the desirable pre-war production examples. The leather is soft and the stitching is intact.
Overall remains in excellent condition.
