Original German Pre-WWII Assorted WHW Tinnies & Religious Tinnie Badge Grouping (6 Pieces)
A "tinnie" is a small, inexpensive badge or pin produced in large quantities by the NSDAP (1933-1945) to commemorate a wide variety of events, rallies, and fundraising efforts. Despite the name "tinnie," they were made from various materials including metal (aluminum, tin), plastic, glass, wood, or even pressed leather. There are estimated to be over 8,000 different designs of WHW items, ranging from regional crests to fairy tale characters.
This is an original grouping of Imperial and Pre-WWII badges and medals. The lot includes a variety of patriotic, military veteran, religious, and occupational-themed pieces. The hammer and pick may have had a pin at one time. The others retain their pins and/or loop. All show age-wear, but are overall in good condition.
Sold as a lot.
