Original German WWII NS-RKB (Nationalsozialistischer Reichskriegerbund) Membership Buttonhole Badge/Pin
The NS-RKB was the
National Socialist Reich Veterans' League, an umbrella organization for German veterans' associations during the Pre-WWII.
This shield shaped badge is a typical symbol of the NS-RKB. Overall the enamel is still vibrant and intact. There is some slight toning and very minor age-related wear. The buttonhole portion of the pin shows some toning but is still solid. The reverse is marked "Ges. Gesch." That is the abbreviation for
“Gesetzlich Geschützt”, which translates roughly as
“legally protected” or
“protected by law.”
