Original German WWII M40 Single Decal Luftwaffe Helmet EF64- This original German WWII M40 Single Decal Luftwaffe Helmet, manufactured by EF (Emaillierwerke AG, Fulda) and sized 64. Appearing to be unissued, it has an impressive 98% coverage of its original Luftwaffe blue textured paint, with only minor scratches marring its surface.
The 2nd model Luftwaffe decal retains approximately 80% of its original presence, though the swastika has been deliberately scraped off, leaving only a tiny remnant. Despite this alteration, the helmet retains its historical integrity.
Internally, the helmet features an excellent condition leather liner, marked size 56. Complete with a leather chinstrap, though dry and faintly marked, the short part displays a crack at the stud hole, a minor flaw considering the pristine condition of the helmet.
Considering its unissued status, this Luftwaffe M40 helmet is presented in very good to excellent condition.
