Original German WWII Silver Infantry Assault Badge Unmarked- An oval shaped oak leaf wreath in silver, with a national eagle clutching a swastika on the top and a bow tie on the bottom. Diagonally across the badge is a k98 with the bayonet attached to the front of the barrel and the carrying sling hanging from the rifle. Made from zinc metal and has about 0% of silver finish on the front, which was lost from wear and over time. On the back side a vertical round wire pin back, a crimped barrel hinge, and a crimped wire catch. Not marked. Minor corrosion or dirt.  Good to very good condition.
