Original German Pre-WWII NSDAP “Deutschland Erwacht” Bilder Gruppe 31 Photo Card Set
An original and very desirable pre-WWII German NSDAP cigarette card photo grouping titled “Bilder-Gruppe 31” from the famous propaganda and historical series “Deutschland Erwacht” (“Germany Awakens”) – “Werden, Kampf und Sieg der NSDAP” (“Rise, Struggle and Victory of the NSDAP”).
This original cardboard storage packet contains 25 large-format photographic and color image cards issued by the Cigarette Picture Service (Cigaretten-Bilderdienst) in Altona-Bahrenfeld. These image groups were produced during the early 1930s as collectible inserts and supplemental sets intended for placement into the larger “Deutschland Erwacht” albums documenting the rise of the NSDAP movement. One card is missing and there is a total of 24 cards. Cards measure 17cm x 12cm.
The group includes a wide variety of period imagery including mass rallies, SA and Hitler Youth marches, political gatherings, portraits of party officials, propaganda artwork, ceremonial events, and several colorized scenes. One card specifically identifies “Das Wohnzimmer des Führers auf dem Obersalzberg” (“The Führer’s living room at the Obersalzberg”). The reverse sides retain the original printed descriptions and album references.

The cardboard sleeve shows expected age, light staining, edge wear, and minor corner damage from storage, while the cards themselves remain in very good overall condition with strong imagery and only light handling wear.
A scarce and historically significant pre-war NSDAP collectible grouping, ideal for display, research, or advanced Third Reich paper and propaganda collections.
