Original German WWII "Im Dienst der Deutschen Wehrmacht" Armband - Screenprinted
This is an original “Im Dienst der Deutschen Wehrmacht” (In the Service of the German Armed Forces) armband. These were worn by civilian and auxiliary personnel who were performing official duties on behalf of the Wehrmacht, but were not enlisted soldiers—such as drivers, laborers, office staff, technicians, and security personnel.
The armband is made of a lightweight cotton with machine-sewn top and bottom edges. The bold black screenprinted lettering remains clear and fully legible.
This black lettered screen printed armband on a white cotton/rayon material is unmarked and shows light discoloration and toning. Overall unissued and in excellent condition.
