Original German WWII Luftwaffe EM/NCO Aluminum Belt Buckle – 2nd Model – Unmarked
This is a authentic German WWII Luftwaffe (Air Force) enlisted/NCO aluminum belt buckle (2nd pattern), featuring the correct Luftwaffe eagle in flight, surrounded by an oak leaf wreath on a pebbled field. It is manufactured from lightweight aluminum and displays a pebbled background with a separately applied eagle and wreath motif typical of 2nd model production. The obverse retains a pleasing, naturally aged finish with light surface wear and honest service patina. Details to the eagle, feathers, and wreath remain defined.
The reverse retains a belt catch, prongs, and rolled hinge. The buckle is unmarked, which is not uncommon for aluminum Luftwaffe examples, as several period manufacturers produced unmarked variants.
Overall condition is very good, with light field wear. A solid, honest Luftwaffe aluminum buckle representative of mid-war production.
