This is a desirable and rare WWII-era German P38 holster crafted by Hans Dinkelmeyer, with the maker code "gyo" and a 1942 production date.
Condition Details:
The closure flap is mostly detached from the body of the holster and will require rethreading or reattachment (please refer to photos for detailed views).
The backside features an embossed "P38" stamp along with the "gyo" maker code and "42" date marking. A very faint waffenAmt is slightly visible below the maker/date mark.
The belt loops on the reverse side are securely attached.
The leather remains soft and pliable, showing typical wear and age from use. Overall, the holster is in very good condition for its age and is an excellent example from a rare and uncommon maker.
