Original Italian WWII G.I.L. “Credere Obbedire Combattere” Badge
This is an original Italian WWII era badge associated with the Gioventù Italiana del Littorio (G.I.L.), the Fascist youth organization of Italy.
The front features a left-facing profile of a helmeted soldier, surrounded by the slogan:
“CREDERE • OBBEDIRE • COMBATTERE • G.I.L.”
(“Believe, Obey, Fight”)
This well-known motto reflects the ideological messaging of the Fascist youth movement.
The pinback is intact. The reverse is nicely marked "M.Lorioli Fratelli Di AEG Via Bronzett 25 Milano." There is a nice patina throughout along with some wear and aging overall. The badge is still in very good, aged condition.
