Original German Pre-War Political Leaders Gilt Belt Buckle RZM M4/24 By Friedrich Linden
This example is of round pattern construction, finished in gilt, and exhibits the correct high-quality manufacture associated with early political organization buckles. The obverse features a sharply detailed eagle surrounded by an oak-leaf wreath, retaining strong definition and original finish with honest age wear.
The reverse shows correct early construction, with a broad horizontal belt plate, soldered catch, and roller bar. The RZM marking “RZM M4/24” is clearly stamped, correctly identifying Friedrich Linden as the maker.
The buckle displays natural patina and light wear, consistent with age, with no repairs or alterations noted. A well preserved and attractive example of a pre-war Political Leaders belt buckle from a desirable and documented manufacturer.
