These are original German WWII Dienstglas 10x50 binoculars manufactured by Emil Busch A.G., maker code "cxn." The binoculars are paired with their Original leather case.
The binoculars exhibit some scattered finish loss throughout along with age-related wear. The optics are very clear and there is no range finder. The right eyepiece lens has a very faint crack but it no way diminishes from the clear optics. They are marked with the serial number 401105 and △ symbol (indicates a certain type of low temperature lubricant was used internally). The adjustment hinge is slightly stiff to adjust and might need some lubricant.
The leather case is very faintly maker marked "Walter Winkler, Spandau, 1941" (see Photo 9). To the right of that is a faint Waffenamt stamp. The case is visibly in poor shape. The leather shows alot of scuffs, surface crazing, and age-related cracking. The front closure hardware and strap are missing, leaving the case unable to latch closed, while the rear belt loop exhibits heavy wear and is no longer attached to the back rivets. The interior leather divider and padding are intact, but it does show some age related wear.
The binoculars are in good condition and the case is in fair condition.
