Original German WWII 1-Liter Non-Matching Canteen (No Cup) W.A.L. 41-
This is an authentic non-matching German WWII 1-Liter Feldflasche (canteen) — the components come from different manufacturers, which was very common in wartime use. Overall this set is in very good condition minus the cup.
Flask is marked W.A.L. 41, which indicates that the item was produced in 1941 by the firm Westfälische Aluminiumindustrie in Lüdenscheid
Canteen cap retains its original rubber gasket.
Leather canteen strap remains pliable but is somewhat stiff and could benefit from conditioning. It is faintly marked CFL41 on the underside.
Wool cover is in very good condition, with some very minor moth damage. Snaps function properly. There is a faint ink stamp which we believe to be CFL41.
