Original German WWII Heer (Army) Early War EM/NCO Breast Eagle – Uniform Removed
This breast eagle was probably removed after the war, brought home as a souvenir.
The front retains good overall definition to the eagle and wreath, while the reverse clearly shows period stitching remnants and fabric loss consistent with having been removed directly from a uniform. Construction, materials, and wear are fully consistent with an original wartime-used example.
Condition reflects honest service wear, including fraying, loose threads, and edge loss, as expected from a uniform-removed insignia. Despite the wear, it remains a genuine period piece with solid display and reference value.
