Original German WWII Black Wound Badge Marked "93" & Mini Silver Wound Badge Stickpin (Top Only)An original German WWII Black Wound Badge, constructed of stamped steel with a period blackened finish. The obverse features a well-defined M35-style steel helmet bearing a mobile swastika, superimposed over crossed swords, all set against a finely pebbled background and enclosed by a detailed oak leaf wreath tied at the base.This example retains much of its original black finish with honest age wear throughout. It maintains nice, crisp details. The reverse shows typical period hardware, with the pin intact. It is marked "93" which indicates production by Richard Simm & Söhne of Gablonz.
Also included is a miniature Silver Wound Badge Stickpin - unfortunately the stickpin is broken off. The reverse is marked L/21 (not seen in the photos) which indicates production by Foerster & Barth.Overall, a solid example displaying authentic wear and patina, indicative of period use and age.Certain symbols have been censored.
