Original German WWII Pre/Early War Named & Marked Clothing Bag
This is an original German WWII Clothing Bag - a standard issue to German soldiers for carrying spare clothing and personal items.
Constructed of heavy olive green canvas, this early war example features leather closure straps, a leather carrying handle, and leather-reinforced side seams. Both original leather buckle straps and handle remain intact and functional. Leather is still pliable, but we always recommend carefully handling aged leather items. The interior is somewhat clean, while the exterior shows signs of use and age wear; there may a tiny hole or two. There is a very faint maker mark on the leather handle (photo 7). We believe the ink stamp is the soldier's name and address.
Overall in very good to excellent condition.
