Original German WWII Cotton Gas Cape Bag (Gasplane Tasche) Marked
This authentic Gas Cape Bag was designed to carry a "Gas Cape" (Gasplane)—a protective fabric used by soldiers to shield themselves from chemical gas attacks during combat.
Constructed of cotton material, the bag retains its characteristic soft feel. The exterior shows hardly any period wear, including minimal to no surface soiling and creasing.
The flap is secured by 2 snaps, both present and firmly attached; both have a slight bit of oxidation. There is a faint maker stamp on the inside flap.
The reverse side features 2 attached fabric loops.
Overall remains in very good condition.
