Original German WWII DRK Sanitätslager Brown Leather Medical Pouch (Marked)
This is an original German WWII DRK (Deutsches Rotes Kreuz) Sanitätslager medical pouch, used for carrying medical supplies in the field.
Constructed of brown leather, the pouch features a sturdy box-style design with a top flap closure, internal compartments, and a fixed carry handle on the top for transport. The reverse is clearly embossed “D.R.K. Sanitätslager Babelsberg 33,” indicating Red Cross medical depot issue.
The leather remains in very good condition, showing honest wear, scuffs, and age toning from use. Stitching is intact throughout, and the hardware, straps, and D-rings remain present and functional. The pouch was designed to be worn with a shoulder strap; however, the strap is no longer present.
The interior is clean and retains its original structure. The pouch is empty.
A desirable and well-marked example of a German WWII medical field item, ideal for display or to complete a medical setup.
