Original Pre-WWII DRK Schwesternhelferin (Nurse's Helper) Membership Badge – Ges. Gesch.
These badges were issued to female DRK nurse's helpers (Schwesternhelferinnen) who assisted trained nurses in hospitals, military medical facilities, emergency aid stations, and civil defense organizations
The black, white, and red enamel is nicely intact on the front. The reverse is stamped "GES. GESCH." (Gesetzlich Geschützt) indicating the design was legally protected. The pinback is intact. The badge shows honest age and light wear, with scattered oxidation and patina to the front and reverse while the enamel remains well preserved with vibrant colors and an attractive gloss.
