Original German WWII Fire Police (Feuerschutzpolizei) Budenheim-Rh. Sleeve Patch

This style of insignia was worn by members of the Feuerwehr (Fire Police) stationed in Budenheim, Rhineland during pre-WWII.

This rare Feuerschutzpolizei sleeve eagle is constructed of bright pink machine embroidery, featuring a national eagle with outstretched wings clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, all enclosed within a large oval oak leaf wreath. The top of the wreath bears the town name “Budenheim Rh”. The insignia is sewn onto an oval-shaped dark blue wool backing.

The embroidery is tight and the color is crisp. No real flaws except for some slightly jagged edges around the patch.
