Original cotton armband featuring a BeVo-style machine-woven Wehrmacht national eagle. This pattern is associated with Wehrmacht recruiting and replacement offices (Wehrersatzdienststellen), as well as personnel performing authorized duties under military authority.
The woven eagle remains sharply defined, retaining excellent detail. The cotton body exhibits age toning, light scattered staining, and discoloration. A tear is present at the rear, possibly resulting from removal from a uniform.
Overall, a well-preserved example in very good condition, with the noted tear and age-related wear.
