Original German WWII “Jahrbücher der Wehrmacht” 1938 – Complete 3-Volume Set (Heer, Kriegsmarine & Luftwaffe Yearbooks) with Dust JacketsThis is an original complete 1938 three-volume set of Jahrbücher der Wehrmacht (Yearbooks of the Armed Forces), published in Germany just prior to the outbreak of WWII. Each volume covers one branch of service — the Army (Heer), Navy (Kriegsmarine), and Air Force (Luftwaffe) — and together they provide a detailed overview of the German military’s structure, equipment, and expansion during the late 1930s.
Each book contains photographs, maps, and artwork depicting uniforms, vehicles, aircraft, and ships, along with essays on organization, training, and operations. The dust jackets feature period artwork representing each service branch. Please note the clear cellophane covers over the dust jackets are not original to the books and have been added to protect the original dust jackets.
All three volumes are complete and retain their original 1938 dust jackets, showing light wear, small edge tears, and some scuffing consistent with age. The interiors remain clean and well-preserved, with solid bindings and light toning. The original boxcover is included but is heavily damaged and broken -- hardly intact.
This set is printed in German. Each book measures approximately 9.5" x 6.5" (24cm x 17cm). Overall in very good condition.
