Original German WWII Kriegsmarine Identification Disk (Damaged)-
During WWII, German soldiers wore oval-shaped Identification Disks "Erkennungsmarke" for the purpose of identification, primarily for the wounded or deceased.
This authentic aluminum disk is damaged, possibly from poor storage or being ground dug. The front still maintains original markings despite the rust and corrosion throughout.
