This is a pre-WWII era Luftwaffe aluminum belt buckle most likely produced by Schmöle & Comp. of Menden. Unlike other manufacturers, this buckle stands out due to its less sharply defined eagle and wreath details on the reverse, a distinguishing trait that makes it highly sought after by collectors.
