Original German WWII Kopffernhörer 33 Leather Pouch by Stolla's Söhne "cgu"
A scarce and desirable pre-war Luftwaffe issued leather pouch intended for the Kopffernhörer 33 (headphones/headset), clearly marked "cgu" and dated 43. These early pouches were used to house communication equipment essential to air and ground signal units, making them an important and functional piece of Luftwaffe field gear.
The pouch is constructed of leather in the correct semi-rounded form, featuring a full front flap with its original leather securing strap and metal buckle closure. The reverse retains its original belt loop attachment plate, secured by four rivets, allowing for proper field wear on a belt. The interior shows the correct snap retention strap designed to secure the headset components in place.
The leather remains supple and well preserved, showing honest service wear, surface scuffing, and handling marks consistent with age and use. The closure strap shows expected wear but remains intact and fully functional.
