The overall structure remains solid with no major damage. The leather reinforced belt loops and all hardware are solid and well preserved. The outside buttons do have some minor rust.
The interior retains its original configuration. The blackened leather closure strap is present and intact, showing minimal aging, it remains functional. All stitching appears to be secure.
This bag features an RB (Reichsbetriebsnummer) marking on the belt hook strap, indicating later wartime production under the German wartime contractor coding system. The bag is well preserved and in excellent condition.
