This is an original German WWII Luftwaffe 1st pattern visor cap eagle, constructed of lightweight aluminum.
The aluminum finish shows natural age and moderate wear consistent with period use, while still retaining sharp detail throughout the wings and body. On the reverse, beneath the right wing, the eagle is clearly marked “E.SCH.L.”, identifying the manufacturer as E. Schneider, Lüdenscheid, a known producer of Luftwaffe insignia. Both attachment prongs are intact.
Overall, this example remains in very good condition.
