This is an original German WWII Luftwaffe (Air Force) 2nd pattern visor cap eagle, constructed of aluminum.
The aluminum finish shows natural age and minor wear consistent with period use, while still retaining sharp detail throughout the wings and body. There is a visible maker mark "BSW" inside a clover leaf design. This signifies production by Brüder Schneider AG of Wien. *Only 1 attachment prong is intact.*
Overall, this example remains in decent to good condition.
