This is an original German WWII Luftwaffe 1st pattern visor cap eagle, constructed of lightweight aluminum.
The aluminum finish shows natural age and light wear consistent with period use, while still retaining sharp detail throughout the wings and body. No visible maker markings are present, which is common for many examples of these early cap insignia. One of the attachment prongs in broken, unsure if it can be repaired.
Overall, this example remains in good condition, aside from the broken prong.
