Original German WWII M35 SA-Feldherrnhalle Double Decal Helmet EF62
This rare and highly desirable M35 SA-Feldherrnhalle Double Decal Helmet (EF62) features the distinctive "Feldherrnhalle" decal, depicting the Field Marshals' Hall in Munich. The SA-Standarte Feldherrnhalle was established in 1935 and renamed "Feldherrnhalle" in 1936, serving as the elite unit of the SA. Tasked with guarding key SA, state, and party offices, the unit was headquartered in Berlin, with battalions stationed across Germany. It played a role in the German entry into Austria in March 1938 and was placed under Wehrmacht control in September of the same year.
This authentic M35 Feldherrnhalle helmet was originally an apple-green Heer double decal helmet, one of only two known Heer examples reissued to the Feldherrnhalle—most were Luftwaffe M35 helmets. It was repainted in brown over the original Heer and Tri-Color decals, with the interior rim also receiving the same paint treatment. The exterior brown paint shows significant wear, retaining approximately 40% of its original application.
