This is an original German WWII NSDAP/National Single Sided Podium Flag/Banner, constructed of a linen-cotton blend fabric with a separately applied roundel with screen printed swastika attached to one side only. The upper edge is fitted with a thin channel and original rope. The bottom edge is adorned with gold colored fringe. Surrounding the border of the flag is a gold colored decorative tresse that is nicely intact. It measures approximately 111.76 cm × 96.52 cm (44" × 38").
The flag colors overall are still vibrant. There are several repairs throughout. We are unsure as to when exactly these were done. There is age-related wear, abrasions and scattered stains and holes which is to be expected, but despite this the flag remains displayable and in good condition.
