*Mint* Original German WWII Reichskriegsflagge 200cm x 335cm (79" x 132") KM Marked *U.S. Veteran Bringback*
This is an original German WWII Reichskriegsflagge (War Flag), measuring approximately 200cm x 335cm (79" x 132"). This large, double-sided flag is constructed from a wool/blend material and is Kriegsmarine marked along the reinforced hoist end.
The flag remains in exceptionally well preserved, near mint to mint condition and may possibly be unissued. There are virtually no noticeable flaws, with the exception of a few missing stitches at one corner of the reinforced hoist end. This appears to be an original period manufacturing or factory flaw rather than later damage. The overall condition is remarkable considering the flag's age and large size. The fabric remains clean with very minor stains, well preserved with strong coloration and very little evidence of handling, display, or use.
This flag is a U.S. Veteran Bringback and was acquired directly from the Veteran's family. Unfortunately, no additional information regarding the Veteran or the circumstances under which the flag was brought home was provided.
