The NSRKB was the official veterans’ organization in Germany during the pre-WWII era. Originally founded as the Deutscher Reichskriegerbund “Kyffhäuser”, the organization was reorganized and brought under NSDAP control after AH came to power. In 1938, it was renamed the Nationalsozialistische Reichskriegerbund (NSRKB).
This period example is entirely screen printed and features the classic NSRKB veteran organization design. Along the top edge of the black banner are remnants possibly indicating where attachment O-rings were once affixed. The flag also retains a visible “Ges. Gesch.” ink stamped marking (see Pic 9), denoting a legally protected design registration. It measures approximately 136cm x 119cm (53.5" x 47").
The flag shows honest period wear and age, including scattered mothing and areas of age-related discoloration throughout, consistent with long-term storage and use. Despite these imperfections, the overall printed design remains well preserved and displays nicely.
