Original German WWII NCO/Officer’s/Political Leather Jackboots (Marschstiefel)
This is an original pair of German WWII-era leather marching boots (Marschstiefel), suitable for NCO, officer, or political organization wear. Constructed from smooth black leather, these boots display the correct tall shaft profile and classic rounded toe associated with period private-purchase and higher-quality issue examples.
The leather remains supple and solid throughout, showing honest service wear and natural creasing consistent with age and use. Both boots retain their internal HBT cloth pull tabs, a correct wartime feature, still firmly stitched in place. The shafts show no structural issues and maintain good shape, with typical surface scuffing and age patina.
The soles and heels show wear from use but remain sound and intact. Both boots are fitted with original heel irons and toe caps, providing added durability and protection—features commonly encountered on period-used marching boots. Stitching remains tight overall, and the boots present very well for their age.
