Original German WWII Puma Fighting Knife First Model Post War Modified
This example features an excellent blade marked "GUSSTAHL PUMA SOLINGEN." The scabbard is the desirable first model type, with the signature rolled-over clip, in contrast to the second model, which has a flat, slightly concave clip. The scabbard retains approximately 95% of its original black paint. While the handle grips appear to be post-war resin-cast replacements, they do slightly affect the overall value of the knife. Despite this, the piece remains an original, first-model Puma Fighting Knife in excellent condition. This knife if all original would typically sell for $700 to $800, making it an appealing option for collectors.
