Description

Original German WWII Silver Infantry Assault Badge By Richard Sieper u. Söhne- Authentic German WWII Silver Infantry Assault Badge, crafted by Richard Sieper u. Söhne, featuring a distinctive design emblematic of its era. Crafted from zink and still retains most of its original silver finish, but has evidence of it being worn. The badge showcases fine details of an intricate arrangement: an oval oak leaf wreath encircling a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, while diagonally across, a k98 rifle, complete with bayonet and carrying sling, adds to the badge's symbolic significance. The reverse side is equipped with a ball hinge and a vertical pin back secured by non-soldered catch, with clear maker's mark R.S.S indicating the origin— Richard Sieper u. Söhne. Someones itnitals are slightly inscrided above the logo. Despite minor wear to the finish and minor oxidation on the back, the badge remains in excellent condition, offering a tangible connection to a pivotal period in history.
