Original German WWII Heer Soldier’s “Aus meiner Dienstzeit” Photo AlbumOffered here is an original German WWII Heer soldier’s photograph album documenting his military service beginning in 1940. The album contains numerous original period photographs depicting the soldier’s training, barracks life, comrades, ceremonies, and other aspects of his early wartime service. There are only a few empty pages.
Of particular interest is the handwritten introductory inscription: “Meine Rekrutenzeit im Lager Stockerau vom 11. März 1940 bis Juni 1940.”This translates approximately to: “My time as a recruit at Lager Stockerau from March 11, 1940 to June 1940.”
Condition is good overall considering age. Please refer to photos for more details and condition of album.
