Original German WWII State Service (Staatsdienst) Yellow Armband – Screenprinted
This is an original State Service (Staatsdienst) armband, produced in bright yellow cotton with a bold black, screenprinted national eagle emblem. These armbands were worn by non-party government personnel, civilian authorities, and state employees who required identification while on official duty—particularly during inspections, police-related functions, civil defense activity, and administrative tasks.
This example is constructed of a sturdy, tightly woven yellow cotton with machine-sewn edges. The black eagle and wreath/swastika design is sharply screenprinted and remains nicely intact with only minor age fading. There is a faint Wehrmacht stamp on the inside.
There are scattered stains throughout from age and storage, but in very good to excellent condition.
