Offered is an original German WWII canvas sports shoes pouch (Turnschuhbeutel), intended for use with the standard M34 Tornister backpack. Constructed of olive-green canvas, the pouch features a rope drawstring closure secured through zinc grommets. The tapered design allowed soldiers to carry athletic shoes or personal items externally on the pack.
The pouch remains complete with its original drawstring and all grommets intact. The canvas shows honest age and service wear, including scattered stains, light soiling, and minor discoloration consistent with field use. Seams remain solid throughout with no significant damage noted.
A nice original field gear accessory often missing from complete Tornister backpack sets and increasingly difficult to find as a standalone item.
