Original German Pre-War HJ Aluminum Belt Buckle RZM Marked M4/27 By Overhoff & Cie
This is an original German WWII H-Youth (H-Jugend) aluminum belt buckle manufactured by
Overhoff & Cie., Lüdenscheid, as indicated by the RZM maker code
M4/27 stamped on the reverse.
Constructed of lightweight aluminum, the buckle features the classic Hitler Youth emblem consisting of the HJ diamond surmounted by a national eagle, surrounded by the raised motto "Blut und Ehre" ("Blood and Honor"). The design remains well defined, with sharp details to the eagle, HJ diamond, and surrounding lettering. The pebbled background remains visible throughout, while the aluminum surface displays honest age-related wear, scratches, and handling marks consistent with service use.
The reverse retains its original aluminum catch, prongs, and retaining bar, all remaining secure and fully functional. The reverse is clearly marked with the RZM roundel and M4/27, identifying production by Overhoff & Cie., one of the better-known wartime buckle manufacturers.
