Original German WWII EM/NCO Leather Belt 95cm With Luftwaffe Aluminum Buckle By Franz Reichenaeur Offered is an original German WWII Luftwaffe enlisted/NCO black leather combat belt complete with a aluminum Luftwaffe buckle and original leather tab. A strong, honest example showing typical service wear and correct wartime construction throughout. The black leather belt is size-marked 95. It remains supple, showing typical field wear and age and has darkened over time. The steel catch is marked OLC signifying production by Overhoff & Cie. There is a very, very faint oval marking that is illegible (Pic 14).The aluminum Luftwaffe buckle features a well-defined pebbled field with the Luftwaffe eagle in flight clutching a swastika, surrounded by a wreath. The detail remains crisp, with only light smoothing to the high points from wear. The reverse is clearly marked FR 38, signifying manufacture by Franz Reichenauer of Oberstein, 1938. The original leather tab is present and dated 1938, matching the buckle. Some stitching on the tab is missing, consistent with age and use, but it remains securely attached. An excellent early-war belt and buckle combination ideal for a Luftwaffe uniform display or impression.Certain symbols have been censored.
