Original German WWII Double Decal M34 Fire/Police Helmet Size 64/56

This is an authentic late war steel M34 Feuerschutzpolizei (Fire/Police) helmet in Excellent condition.

EXTERIOR
Shell:
The helmet retains its glossy black finish, consistent with Fire/Police issue, showing some minor wear and scuffing from most likely years of storage.

Decal(s):
The original applied decals are intact, but do show some very minor wear and aging. *Certain symbols have been censored, so if you would like original photos please contact us.

Split Pins:
All four original split pins are present.

INTERIOR
Shell:
The helmet retains its original black factory finish, exhibiting only minor wear or aging. The helmet shell is a size 64 since the liner is size 56.

Liner:
The original liner system is present. The black leather liner remains intact and supple, showing little to no age or use; toning is pretty even overall. The finger tabs are complete, and the original drawstring is present. It is marked size 56. The leather dome pad remains intact on the leather pad on the inside dome. There is a faint manufacturer marking on the inside finger of the liner.

Chinstrap:
The leather chinstrap is in excellent condition, supple, showing some cracking and age from handling and storage; hardware is a chrome plated buckle with some minor wear. We always recommend careful handling of aged leather.

CONDITION
Overall, this helmet remains in excellent, solid condition.
