Original Post WWI Weimar Era "Der Stahlhelm" (The Steel Helmet) Membership Pins
The "Der Stahlhelm, Bund der Frontsoldaten" (The Steel Helmet, League of Frontline Soldiers), commonly known as "Der Stahlhelm" was a WWI veteran’s organization existing from 1918 to 1935. During the Weimar era it became one of the largest nationalist veterans' associations before being absorbed into the Sturmabteilung during the mid-1930's.
This set of non-matching pins is in good condition. The pin on the (L) is missing the pin. There are visible signs of aging throughout, but both remain solid. The pin on the (R) has it's original pin and is marked on the back "ST. & L. Ges. Gesch" confirmation production by Steinhauer & Lück of Lüdenscheid and patent protected.
