Original Pre-WWII RDK (Reich's Union of Large Families) Membership BadgeThe RDK (Reichsbund der Kinderreichen Deutschlands - Reich's Union of Large Families) was established to represent and promote the interests of German families with multiple children. During pre-WWII, the organization supported government policies encouraging larger families and recognized parents who contributed to population growth. Membership badges such as this were worn by members to identify their affiliation with the organization.
This original badge maintains vibrant enamel on the front with some minor flecking and finish wear as to be expected. The reverse has a nice patina / with oxidation. The pin is nicely intact. There is a maker mark "fw" visible on the back. Overall in very good condition.
