Original German WWII Double Sided Banner/Flag (150cm x 76cm)
Offered is an original German WWII double-sided national flag/banner, constructed of red cotton with separately applied white roundels to each side, each featuring a black screen printed swas. The construction and materials are consistent with period manufacture. The flag retains a vibrant red field, showing some various stains and a few small holes throughout, along with honest signs of age and handling. The white roundels exhibit mild age toning, while both black swas. retain even coloration. The overall stitching is intact throughout. One end features a sewn tunnel sleeve for mounting on a pole or staff, as commonly encountered on display or parade banners. Also is remnant of a RZM Tag and a small period safety pin. No rope is present.
Measures approximately 59" x 30" (150cm x 76cm).
Overall, a very good example ideal for display or collection.
