Original German WWII Faithful Service Cross 25 Years Complete With Original Case By Paul Meybauer
This is an excellent original German Third Reich Faithful Service Cross for 25 Years (Treuedienstehrenzeichen für 25 Jahre), complete with its original presentation case and retailer label by Paul Meybauer, Berlin SW68. Instituted in 1938, the 25-Year Faithful Service Cross was awarded to civil servants and government employees in recognition of twenty-five years of loyal and uninterrupted public service.
The cross is beautifully constructed with a bright silvered finish and white enamel arms, all of which remain in excellent condition with no noticeable chips or cracks. The central black enamel swastika is well-preserved and displays outstanding contrast against the white enamel. Behind the cross is the finely detailed silvered oak leaf wreath, adding depth and elegance to the award. The reverse bears the inscription "Für treue Dienste" ("For Faithful Service"), which remains crisp and sharply defined.
The original blue ribbon is clean, vibrant, and free from significant wear. It remains correctly mounted with its original suspension pin, making the medal ready for display.
Included is the original red presentation case, featuring the silver "25" emblem on the lid. The interior retains its deep red flocking and houses the original retailer label reading:
