Original German WWII Hitler Jugend Knife RZM M7/13 by Arthur Schüttelhöfer & Co. *U.S. Veteran Bringback*
Original Hitler Youth (HJ) knife produced by Arthur Schüttelhöfer & Co., Solingen, with the blade marked “RZM M7/13.” This example shows wear from use but remains in good overall condition.
The blade exhibits graying, scattered spotting, and surface scratches, with evidence of sharpening. The blade tip is missing. The fit remains tight, and the original black leather buffer pad is intact.
The black checkered grip panels retain their inset HJ diamond insignia, which shows minor enamel damage. The metal hilt fittings display finish wear and areas of exposed base metal.
The steel scabbard retains a good amount of its black paint, with scattered scratches, paint loss, and oxidation, particularly toward the tip. The leather belt hanger and retaining strap show surface wear but remain supple and unbroken.
This knife is a U.S. veteran bringback, acquired directly from the veteran’s family. Included with the purchase is a copy of the veteran’s signed and dated Bringback Certificate (not pictured), providing additional provenance for this knife.
