Original Pre-WWII German RAD "Arbeits Dank" (Labor Appreciation) Membership Pin
These pins were awarded to members of the RAD (Reichsarbeitsdienst - National Labor Service) upon completion of their service.
RAD was a state labor organization established in Germany before WWII. Initially intended for public works and labor projects, it later became a compulsory service organization that also provided pre-military training and support for the German military.
This original pin maintains vibrant enamel. There is a tiny bit of flecking and age marks. The reverse has a nice aged patina and the pinback is intact. There is a visible "Ges. Gesch." (patent protected) marking. Overall, this is in very good to excellent condition.
